Keeping up to date with routine pet vaccinations is extremely important, not only for the health of your pet but to help keep infectious diseases at bay. We recommend bringing your pets in for health checks on an annual basis. This will allow you to discuss which vaccinations are needed to give them optimal protection against a range of important diseases.
At Larkmead Vets, we ensure that our team stays up to date with emerging diseases and make sure our recommended vaccines are the best available.

Other recommended vaccinations**:
Parainfluenza and Bordetella bronchiseptica are more commonly associated with Canine Infectious Tracheobronchitis (Kennel cough) a disease that can cause severe symptoms including pneumonia. Very young or elderly patients are most at risk. These bugs are very persistent and may survive in the environment for several weeks. Infections can be picked up anywhere your dog contacts infected dogs, even at the park or doggy day care.
